Virginians Tie for 4th in Mid-Atlantic District

The Virginians performed well in this past weekends district competition in Reading, Pennsylvania by placing in the top 5 out of 16 choruses. Dedicated to always improving, the chorus was trained in specific aspects of performance throughout the past year. Led by talented coaches, Steve Scott, Jay Dougherty, and Gary Plaag, the Virginians learned techniques for better vocal quality and musical interpretation.

Forecast and Youth Reclamation Project also had great sets in the semifinal and finals of the quartet competition. Forecast came in 4th place while Youth Reclamation Project won the district senior quartet competition.
