The Virginians Honor & Celebrate Erin Cook

On June 4th, members of the Virginians gathered to honor and say farewell to our associate director, Erin Cook. Since 2018, she has helped direct and prepare us for our contest performances. Being a music professional, she offered a wide variety of information and techniques to improve our vocal and visual performances. During the Covid-19 shutdown she gave us daily doses of online music minutes to keep us vocally limber when we were unable to sing in person. We are all so very grateful for the things she did and the time we had with her. She will be missed!

On July 31st, Erin let us know that she would be the director of a women’s chorus being formed near St. Louis, Missouri. As part of the St. Charles Chapter, it is known as “Visions of Harmony - Womens Chorus”, affiliated with the Ambassadors of Harmony Chorus.
