Join the Fun!

Come sing with The Virginians!

Chorus of the Richmond chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society

Singing Quartet

You don't have to have a terrific voice or know how to read music. The only requirement is that you enjoy singing, fun and fellowship. And, this is a great hobby for fathers and sons to share.

Guests are invited to join us on the risers in singing harmony. We want men to enjoy the thrill of making a chord ring. Membership in the chapter offers men an opportunity to improve their singing ability, participate in competitions with other chapters, and present public shows and concerts in the local area.

The Barbershop Harmony Society, is an international singing organization with more than 30,000 members throughout the United States and Canada. The Society offers a broad program of music education for those interested in furthering their knowledge and appreciation of vocal music.

See you Tuesday at 7PM!

We rehearse weekly at the North Star Academy, located in Richmond, near the intersection of Parham and Broad Street, (at 8055 Shrader Road). Come and sing with us! For further information, call 1-866-VASINGS (827-4647).

Are you a Diva?

Ladies can get incolved in barbershop music too! The Greater Richmond Chorus is our sister group in the Sweet Adelines.

Under the direction of our own Roger Tarpy, the Greater Richmond Chorus won the 2005 Region 14 championship! They will represent their region at the Oct. 2006 International competition in Las Vegas!
